Consultations for brow heaviness and brow lift

A Brow Lift often creates an open and more youthful appearance. When brows are heavy, you may appear tired. Brows may become heavier as we age due to a loss of collagen and a reduction in the support tissue around the eyes. The tired look is aggravated by excess skin of the upper eyelid, which appears to rest on the upper eyelashes.

During our consultation, we can discuss ways of creating a temporary lift to the eyebrows.

Muscles of the face have specific functions. Some pull parts of the face up (elevator muscles) while others pull it down (depressor muscles). During our consultation, we can discuss options to improve the muscle balance of the face, creating a brow lift while maintaining a natural look.

We can discuss methods that may subtly alter the shape of the brow lift, e.g.

  • raise the whole brow
  • predominantly raise the outer edge of the brow
  • create arched brows
  • create a flatter shaped brow lift as would be more appropriate in a male.
